I agree with kmwoley, beast girl and Marina. Continue expressing your ideas; it's the best way to polish both your ideas and your writing.

I agree with Marina; the occasional blog update from you is always appreciatively read. I think that is because you do it so very rarely and about things which are important to you. I don’t think it matters if they’re about events or ideas, if they’re important to you they are worth sharing.

I think that you should share your ideas no matter your age because that’s the only way they’re going to get discussed & refined. And half-built, half-baked ideas are the ones that the most interesting anyway. Everyone knows the Earth is round, but there was a hell-of-a-lot of discussion before we all agreed to it.

And the occasional picture with a goofy grin isn’t bad, either…

I love reading and I love writing. I find that in all of the mind vomit, there are blips of brilliance. BUT it takes a lot—sort of like photography. You have to take hundreds of shots to get one amazing image.

My question to you would be: why not? It doesn't matter what anyone thinks or does or if you're going with the trends or not. If you enjoy it, do it. I enjoy reading your blog.

This is your party, cry if you want to. :0)

While I'm generally aware of what you're up to thanks to Twitter and seeing you around town, I still like to read the occasional blog update. Sometimes it helps to get a >140-character idea off your chest/mind and know that someone is listening, so that's what a blog is for.

Damon says that the first thing that attracted him to me was the Guinness button I had on my [old] blog. You never know where a blog post (or widget) may lead!

If you don't feel like posting, don't post, but if you feel like posting, post. It's your blog and your rules. Maybe writing down an under-construction idea can help you refine it, or going back and reading what you thought six months ago can help indicate if you're on or off the right track.
